Payments, Fees & Order Completion — How It Works
Order Completion Email
After an order is completed, both the Creator and the Sponsor automatically receive an email confirmation.
This email includes:
- Order details
- SpotsAd fee
- Creator earnings
- Estimated payout timeline
Creator Earnings (85%)
Creators earn 85% of the total order price.
Example:
If a Sponsor pays $1.00, the payout looks like this:
Subtotal: $1.00
SpotsAd Fee (15%): -$0.15
Creator Earns: $0.85
Stripe Payouts
After both users confirm the order is complete:
- Funds are released through Stripe Connect.
- Money is deposited directly into the Creator’s linked bank account.
- Payout typically arrives in 2–7 business days, depending on bank processing times.
Sponsor Processing Fee (5%)
Sponsors pay a 5% processing fee on top of the order amount.
This fee covers:
- Stripe payment processing
- Fraud and chargeback protection
- Banking and transfer infrastructure
Why SpotsAd Takes a 15% Platform Fee
A 15% platform fee is applied to each completed order. This fee supports:
- Secure messaging and negotiation tools
- Calendar booking system
- Dispute resolution
- Hosting, moderation, and support
- Ongoing platform improvements

All transactions are securely handled by:
